When we got home we were exhausted. Traveling with two kids is exponentially more tiring then traveling with one. Hmmm. Why is that? It should be just double the work. But its more like 2.85 times.
We dragged our bags in from the car, flopped onto the couch and watched the DVRed BYU-Northern Iowa football game. Go Cougs!
Conrad woke up from his nap--the little guy was just beat and fell asleep in the car--and sat with his Daddy for a few hazy minutes. Soon he was up and about. He pulled out one of the football movies, took it to Tyler and said, "Let's watch this." This from the kid who has been counting down 'til BYU football all summer long. By the week.
"Buddy, we're watching BYU football," Tyler replied.
"No. I don't like it," Con said. "They don't have eyes."
We looked at the horrible picture from his perspective. He was right. The players had no eyes! Here is a kid used to watching sports in HD, where you can see the individual blades of grass, and the Mountain is such a scrappy little set up that you really can't see any details on the players' faces. Its too grainy and fuzzy. They are kinda blobby.
Maybe they'll get a few more sponsors and then upgrade the equipment. Until then, we will enjoy the pro-MWC commentators (Weird!) and imagine what the guys on the field should look like.

Again, Go Cougars!

Did you know #32 is my friend's brother when you posted this?
We have a love/hate relationship with The Mtn.
The 2.85 really got me. I snickered, because I was thinking along those same lines.
Also, they're letting 16 yos get married now?! That's just crazy-talk.
That's funny that Con is saying what we all think about the Mountain--I don't like it! And funny that he doesn't like it because the players don't have eyes!
Karin, yes. I told Tyler at Pita's first good play. And then he had such a great game!
