A Glimpse 10+Years Down the Road

And now, a little story about Grace.

Perhaps you are aware, she decided quite a while ago that she is done with diapers. She wants to use the potty. And she'll put up with a princess pull-up at bed time or if we are out and about, but at home, she wants to wear underwear or nothing.

Before you are completely amazed at this one-year-old (almost two), please understand, we go through 2 or 3 pairs of pants a day. But we have hard floors. No biggie. And she is very proud of herself any time she goes potty.

One day, Conrad scared her and she had an accident. She came running in to me, pointed at her wet pants and said, with as much teenage-blame-your-parents-for-everything-attitude, "Mom!" It was, obviously, my fault.

I wish I had a camera rolling!

Oh, dear. She thinks she is four and has moments of 11 or 15. What will we do?!?

We're in the same really weird place with potty training. I just keep telling myself, "it's a process, it's a process, it's a process." Oh, yeah and we DON'T have hardwood floors! :)

"underwear or nothing" - love it!
