Con had his birthday and loved every minute of it:
He loved looking at the wrapped presents.
He loved talking about his "fuball birfday cake" and loved eating it even more.
He loved ripping paper slowly off each present, about driving the other kids nuts (not intentionally).
He loved the party. He has been waiting for his turn since we started reading "Happy Birthday, Thomas" in March.
He loved the little paper party plates.
He loved singing to himself (all day), although he did sing "Happy Birthday, Daddy"--whatcha gonna do?
He loved that Dean, Drew, Edie, Evan ("and Bubba"), Cousin Tyler, and Kathryn came to help him celebrate--what fun cousins we have!
He loved blowing out the candles (finally!)
And he loved telling people how old he turned: Free! (And that was with a struggle to hold up three fingers, every. time. :)

YEAH! I am so glad you posted this right now (I am taking a break from cleaning my floors- 2 part process, sweep (done) then mop (hopefully will get done before I have to sweep again).
Those look like great presents. Is he going to start taking a lunch or snack everywhere like Edie?

Happy Birthday Con! "Free" is such a fun age. It looks like he enjoyed every minute of his birthday.
