Sparkles the Seal

We had a visitor this holiday season, Sparkles the Seal, Con's class mascot. She came for the weekend and Conrad took her everywhere! Even to meet Santa at the ward party.

Conrad was a great host. He made her a little bed in a laundry basket (reminiscent of Emily when she had jaundice and Jill when she was tiny) and paper fish to snack on. And they played and played and played! I love being a fly in the kitchen when Con is playing in the family room! And he interpretted for Sparkles to let us all know what she needed and wanted.

Sunday night, we filled out a journal page in Sparkles' travel log. Conrad wrote until he ran out of room, then he drew a great picture of their adventures together.

I love that he's in the Seal Class!
