The day before Con's last day of school was the Kindergarden Water Play Day. It was cold. And raining. And that didn't stop any of the kids from playing in the sprinklers or splashing about in the little pools. Most didn't stay in too long, except Conrad, though he didn't last as long as his buddy Weston.
Conrad was very interested in spending his Seal Bucks, which he'd been earning all spring for good behavior. They were hard for him to come by and very precious. He wasn't going to waste any on crafts or face painting. Rather, he bought treats. Lots of treats. And an apple. Covered in frosting and sprinkles, which he decorated himself. I guess that counts as a treat.
They had a bbq hotdog lunch, washed the blacktop with the soap-bubble-table toys (who started that?!?) and played and played.
It was a blast!
Thank-you K-Team!
